The 15-time major champion has revealed in an interview with published on Thursday, how trying his recuperation is, but has commented on his hopes of playing golf again.
'This has been an entirely different animal,' Woods told Golf Digest.
'I understand more of the rehab processes because of my past injuries, but this was more painful than anything I have ever experienced.'
Woods' injuries left him with open fractures to his tibia and fibula bones in his right leg.
Following the accident, Woods underwent surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

He was transferred to Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles and then back to South Florida in mid-March to continue his rehab from home.
Woods has previously undergone five back operations, including spinal-fusion surgery in April 2017. Woods' current rehab is focused on strengthening his right leg.
Woods also had five surgeries on his left knee beginning in 2008 and most recently an arthroscopic procedure to clear scar tissue in August 2019.
'My physical therapy has been keeping me busy,' he added.
'I do my routines every day and am focused on my number one goal right now: walking on my own. Taking it one step at a time.'
Woods revealed the 'incredible' amount of goodwill messages he received from around the world has helped motivate his recovery.
'It's been incredible.
I have had so much support from people both inside and outside of golf which means so much to me and has helped tremendously.'
It is unclear at this stage whether Woods will be able to regain full mobility and strength in his leg.
